Heya! We’re Blackbird Espresso Bar, tucked inside Ponsonby Central, running on a simple idea: keep things small, focused, and done properly.
We operate as a compact, takeaway-first bar where the work happens right in front of you. No layers, no scripts, no unnecessary noise — just a direct connection between the bar and the people who walk up to it.
Our style is built around rhythm and consistency. Fast without being rushed, polished without losing its character. The kind of place where regulars know what to expect, and where our goal is simple: do the job well, every day.
DRINKS
We serve from classic coffee favourites like Espresso, Americano, and Flat White to more adventurous creations.
Try our Espresso Tonic, Espresso Ginger Beer, or a refreshing Espresso on Ice.
For a sweet treat, our Affogato pairs creamy vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso on top.
And some cloudy espresso latte or Matcha.
